Females

The Glympton Aberdeen Angus Herd has bred big deep cows over the years. As a result, our females have been used as the foundation for several pedigree herds in England. Over the herd's formative years we used several bulls to enhance our cows' potential.

Particular points of note are:

• Our herd is closed.
• Buyers have found that our cows convert easily to the organic system.
• None of our breeding females receives supplementary concentrate feeding.
• All our females are fed mineralised grass silage and straw during housing.
• Our emphasis is to produce correctness of udder .
